Birmingham Advanced Motorcyclists - The Club
About us
We are the largest advanced motorcycle coaching club in the Midlands region, and an official provider of IAM RoadSmart's Advanced Rider Course.
BAM (Birmingham Advanced Motorcyclists) is a not-for-profit charity registered with the Charity Commission reg no. 1057912. All of our Club officials and coaches are volunteers who have benefitted from Club training in the past and passionately believe that what we do saves lives.
Chairman's Chat
Welcome to our long awaited new website that we have developed with the help of Barrett Squires. Our goal was to bring you an up to date website that showcases the club well and highlights all the good work that is carried out year on year by our army of observers and committee members..
This will be a journey and we will look to make improvements along the way
- We will use it to access planned events
- We will be calling on members to submit content in the form of interviews and stories.
- We will use it as a platform to celebrate achievements.
- We will use it to promote road safety.

BAM Meetings are held THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH STARTING AT 8pm PROMPT open from 7:30pm
The meetings are an opportunity to chat over a coffee, with other members, observers and senior observers about all aspects of advanced riding. Generally meetings include an advanced riding presentation by our very own Marcus McCormick IAM examiner for the first half and a guest speaker second half, divided by a 15 minute break for refreshments, ending about 10pm.
